A happy cow and a sad horse stood inside a ranch. The horse stared over the fence. The cow asked, “Whatdya looking for?” The horse answered, “Home. I can’t get there from here.”

****blogger’s note****

This is my answer to Trifextra Weekend Challenge from Trifecta Writing write a fable in 33 words. A fable is literary genre that uses animals or inanimate objects, given human qualities, that tells a moral inside a fictional story.

Today’s song is how I’ve always interpreted R.E.M.’s Can’t Get There From Here, from their Fables of the Reconstruction album. See what i did there? Check out the appaloosa at the beginning of the video.
